Jeffrey Milks, MD
With over 40 years’ experience in private practice, Jeffrey Milks, MD is board-certified in Family Practice, Geriatrics, and Hospice and Palliative Care. A graduate of The Ohio State University Medical School, Dr. Milks is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, American Academy of Private Physicians, and the Ohio State Medical Association along with several other local professional associations. His honors include: OSU Department of Family Medicine Preceptor of the Year, OSU Teacher of the Year, Columbus CEO Lifetime Achievement Award and Columbus Business First Champion of Healthcare Legacy Award. He prides himself on being the handyman of the office and is an active pickleball player.

Brad Herpolsheimer, MD
Practicing over 25 years in central Ohio, Dr. Herpolsheimer is board-certified in family medicine. A 1997 graduate of Michigan State University, he completed his residency at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. Known by friends and colleagues as “Dr. Brad,” he is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, was awarded the AOA-National Medical Honor Society while in medical school and was named one of central Ohio’s top providers in ThisWeek News’ 2016 Readers’ Choice Awards. Dr. Brad is an avid golfer and huge Michigan State fan.
James Wellbaum, MD
Dr. James Wellbaum is a board-certified family physician who has been providing primary care to patients in central Ohio for over a decade. A graduate of Ross University Medical School, Dr. Welbaum completed his residency at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, where he served as chief resident. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. In his spare time, Dr. Welbaum enjoys spending time with his two young children, outdoor recreation and traveling.
Miranda Quintana, APRN-CNP
Miranda is a Certified Nurse Practitioner who joined Personal MD in September 2009. She is available at our office to see patients for all types of visits, including geriatric assessments, Medicare annual wellness visits and women’s health exams. Our patients love her kind spirit and willingness to always go the extra mile. She earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from Ohio Northern University and her master’s in nursing at The Ohio State University. Miranda is an active mom to her three young children and enjoys reading in her spare time.
Deborah Milks, RN
Deb has been in the field of nursing for over 40 years, as a nurse, professor and nurse practitioner. As one of the founders of the practice, she enjoys developing relationships with patients throughout their lives. Deb is a two-time graduate of The Ohio State University, holding her master’s degree in nursing. She enjoys spending time in Florida and with her grandson.
Lisa Gray, Clinical Manager and CMA
Lisa graduated from the Ohio Institute of Health Careers with her medical assistant certification in 2003. She completed her externship with OSU Family Practice, where she spent three years working as a medical assistant with Dr. Milks and Deb. She has been with the practice since the first day in 2006 and is adored by her patients. Lisa is the “green thumb” of the office and loves all types of animals.
Jill Wilson, MA
Jill has been a medical assistant for over 15 years and joined the Personal MD team in 2023. She has extensive experience in a variety of medical specialties, including gynecology, pain management, dietetics, primary care and nutrition. She enjoys teaching yoga, Pilates, cycling, and SilverSneakers classes in the Pickerington area.
Holly Verhovec, Medical Receptionist
Holly is the Patient Care Coordinator at PMD. After an eight-year contract with the Ohio Army National Guard, she worked in Emergency Medicine as both an EMT and Emergency Room Technician for a few local Emergency Departments. A wife and mother of two, Holly enjoys watching her sons play baseball and going camping as a family.
